Located in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle (33), the Barton family owns several properties, including Château Léoville Barton.
Château Léoville Barton, in its historical and operational approach, is resolutely committed to a more ecological approach. For many decades, their winegrowing operation has rested on 3 pillars: environmentally-friendly practices, reduced environmental impact and administrative initiatives (valorization of short circuits).
With 12 hectares of vineyards managed without the use of synthetic products, and 80 hectares devoted to natural areas, the estate is implementing an ambitious agroecological policy.
In 2021, the Barton family partnered with BLISS with a first pre-series assembly with which they sprayed throughout the 2022 campaign.
They were very satisfied with the spraying quality and drift reduction, and decided to continue with Bliss for the 2023 and 2024 campaigns.
